Last Week we announced that on July 24th in Washington IN we would Crown the first EVER Elite Pro Wrestling Odyssey of the Elite Champion. This will be in a huge multi-man match after that this championship will be very unique compared to any other championship in wrestling and so we wanted to explain it.
Once the Champion is crowned heshe must defend it at elite pro wrestling's 4 big shows, those being in March, June, Sept and Dec. They don't have a choice they must defend the belt or be stripped.
After successfully defending the championship 3 times and the names of those they have defeated recorded on the championship, they can then choose one of two options.
Option 1. They can announce they want to face the EPW Champion at the Next big show.
Or
Option 2. They can wait until the next time the EPW Champion defends his championship and after the match declare he/she wants a match right now.
Once either option is chosen though the Odyssey championship will then be taken off the current champion.
The Company will then make a triple threat match between the Three people that had been defeated during the previous champions reign to crown the next champion.
There are no rematch clauses in the Odyssey Division so once a champion loses or vacates the championship they must start back at the bottom and work their way back to the top.
